Disorders of Shoulder & Elbow
The shoulder and elbow are prone to various disorders due to their constant use and wide range of motion. Common shoulder disorders include rotator cuff injuries, bursitis, tendinitis, frozen shoulder, dislocation, and arthritis, all of which can cause pain, weakness, and restricted movement. Similarly, the elbow may develop conditions such as tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis), golfer’s elbow (medial epicondylitis), bursitis, arthritis, nerve compression, and fractures resulting from overuse or trauma. Both joints require proper diagnosis and treatment, including rest, physiotherapy, medications, or surgical intervention, to restore mobility, relieve pain, and prevent long-term complications
